iNADO 2023-2027 Strategic Plan

18 January 2023, Bonn, Germany: The Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) has officially launched its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, Working Together Towards Excellence.

Nick Paterson, iNADO Board Chair, stated “iNADO is privileged to represent the immense and unparalleled expertise of its members. Our 2023-2027 Strategic Plan set out how we will harness that expertise to raise the bar across anti-doping, and to support our membership and wider anti-doping community to give all athletes the opportunity to compete in clean sport.”

The three overarching, interdependent and mutually reinforcing priorities captured in the Plan designed to achieve this are:

Building a Supportive Community - Nurturing an engaged membership that contributes to the global conversation about great anti-doping practice.

Improving Practice Everywhere - Empowering and encouraging every NADO and RADO to improve from where they are – using established and emerging best practices.

Speaking Up for NADOs/RADOs Globally - Advocating for a stronger anti-doping ecosystem and promoting transparency through insights based on the experiences of NADOs and RADOs.

These priorities and the Six Guiding Principles of Anti-Doping will anchor and inform the organization’s purpose and activities going forward.

iNADO CEO Jorge Leyva, hosted an open webinar Our New Way of Working Together Towards Excellence to present how the Plan will operate in practice. “The new Strategic Plan of iNADO will allow us to better serve all our Members. By providing the framework to identify relevant topics to address, we will increase the impact of our activities under each strategic priority.”
