iNADO Webinar: "Inadvertent doping & contamination cases: analyzing data to understand the situation"

The Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) is pleased to invite Members and non-Members to our next webinar:

"Inadvertent doping & contamination cases: analyzing data to understand the situation" with Marinella Burgos on April 24 2023 at 12:00 CEST

Inadvertent doping is not a new issue but the difficulties in assessing the risks of contamination (of food, pharmaceuticals or supplements) make this a complex problem for anti-doping organizations. Contamination cases are also critical for athletes because the circumstances to meet the burden of proof can be difficult and applied sanctions can be as severe as in intentional doping cases. Understanding better adverse analytical findings (AAF) caused by contamination is critical for maintaining public trust in anti-doping policies.

In the webinar and to ignite further discussions within iNADO, we will present outcomes from academic literature as well as an overview of sanctions related to inadvertent doping of the last seven years available in the ADKC Database.

Join us to learn more about this complex topic and how those institutions perceives the doping contamination cases in the last years.
