The iNADO 2025 Workshop Concludes with Renewed Commitment to Innovation and Collaboration in Anti-Doping

26/03/2025 – Bonn, Germany -The Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) successfully concluded its 2025 Annual Workshop at the University of Lausanne. Under the theme "Unlock the Future of Anti-Doping: Exploring Innovation, Collaboration, and Best Practices," the workshop brought together 220 participants from 90 organizations. Attendees included National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs), Regional Anti-Doping Organizations (RADOs), WADA, International Federations, and other stakeholders, all committed to exchanging ideas and enhancing collective efforts in promoting clean sport.
Amy Dyer, iNADO Program Manager, reflected on the event, saying:
"The 2025 iNADO Annual Workshop successfully brought together Anti-Doping professionals from around the world to explore innovative approaches and foster collaboration in our field. The engaging discussions on topics such as the future of artificial intelligence in Anti-Doping, ethical considerations, and effective management of doping detection reflect our collective commitment to advancing clean sport. I extend my sincere gratitude to all speakers and participants for their invaluable contributions, which have undoubtedly strengthened our global Anti-Doping efforts."
Dr. Peter Van de Vliet, CEO of iNADO, emphasized the significance of partnerships in advancing anti-doping efforts. With a majority of the 39 speakers coming from iNADO members, the workshop promoted the “sharing of knowledge from the Membership to the Membership.” He also highlighted the ongoing collaboration with the World Association of Anti-Doping Scientists (WAADS) as a testament to iNADO's commitment to fostering relationships that enhance the integrity of sport. Additionally, the active participation of iNADO sponsors, partners, and WADA, alongside members of different Code and IS drafting teams, underscored efforts to address forthcoming changes in the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
The workshop provided a platform for in-depth discussions on expanding scopes to artificial intelligence, integrity in sport, and the effective management of supplement contamination risks, reflecting iNADO's dedication to addressing emerging challenges in the Anti-Doping landscape.
